Corps Member. Completed an intensive training program to develop skills and knowledge needed to
achieve significant gains in student achievement. Taught in a summer school program run by Teach For
America for low-income students in the Chicago Public School District. Engaged in full schedule of
professional development activities including seminars, discussion groups, workshops, individual and
group reflections, readings, and learning teams specific to teaching license area.
GOLDMAN UNION CAMP INSTITUTE ZIONSVILLE, IN
Office Administrator. Coordinated opening and closing day procedures for two separate sessions that
facilitated moving 300 campers in and out in a 3 hour time period. Created action plans for getting local
and international campers/luggage to and from the airport safely and efficiently. Maintained growing
inventory of all supplies on camp for all age groups for a variety of programs including sports, swim, staff
Oneg, evening program, bunk night, experiential learning, and all-camp events. Prepared food, rooms,
materials, and attendance lists for camp visitations for parents, alumni, the board, and leadership from the
New York office. Earned “Best All Around Staff Member” award, voted as honoree by peers.
Unit Head, Shoresh & Anaf. Supervised 25-27 counselors and 80-105 campers for eight-week
residential summer camp. Each year, created and managed four educational curricula, daily schedule, and
edited staff generated programs. Evaluated staff members with assessment forms and individual meetings
to discuss strengths and areas for improvement. Instructed staff on effective leadership and appropriate
disciplinary measures. Choreographed and directed crews for set, costumes, and props for two full-feature
musical performances.
Head Song leader. Coordinated two summers of camp music and worship singing. Worked in
partnership with co-Head Song leader to develop new systems to integrate ‘song leaders in training’ into
the music program. Planned calendar of weekly song sessions, curriculum per unit for choice hours, and
looped Hebrew and Jewish teachings into each day to prepare for the musical Shabbat experiences.
Gezah Head Counselor. Assisted unit programming at the organizational and production levels while
maintaining a co-counselor cabin group team. Wrote 3 monthly educational and 2 social programs as
required for general staff members. Worked with male, Co-Head counselor to organize food,
transportation, safety, and all programs/activities for 80 campers/staff for monthly overnight camping
trip in southern Indiana. Earned Best all Around Staff Member award, voted on by peers.

Musical Director. Developed curriculum and directed choir program on Sundays for 2nd-5th
graders every Sunday for the 2013-2014 school year, under the supervision of Cantor Seth
Warner.
High Holidays Song leader. Planned and executed new spiritual offerings on High
