2. • Fashion Design and Illustration internship at Marchesa. During my time in the
Marchesa showroom, I assisted the team with the runway collections, mainly focusing
on illustration, design and pattern making.
• Partnership with Weaving Hand Organization- a non-profit organization working with
individuals who suffer from disabilities, based in Brooklyn, NY.
Phoenix College, Arizona- Associate of Arts in Fashion Design
• Production Designer for Las Otras Hermanas, a fair-trade clothing line that helps
improve the living conditions of women from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
LOH was a voluntary experience where I assisted in developing a garment.
This experience helped me gain knowledge of the fair-trade business, and
organic cotton farming as well as the development of an impoverished community.
• Fashion Design Internship at Betsey Johnson in New York City.
During my internship I worked closely with the design team including
Betsey Johnson during Fall '09 with styling and execution.
