1. Recommendation Letter
To Whom It May Concern
I am gladly extending this letter of recommendation for Mr. Leo Gurshteyn. I have observed
Mr. Gurshteyn work performance over the past year, and as such, I can personally attest to his
diligent working attitude and great potential.
As a Test Manager at USPTO, I was Mr. Gurshteyn's supervisor from 2014 to 2015. Mr.
Gurshteyn worked as a Senior Test Engineer, in charge of the TMING-eFile project. This
project allows users to electronically complete and submit trademark forms. The target users
for the new e-filing system are the global Intellectual Property community, including
attorneys, corporate business owners, pro se filers, and members of the general public.
USPTO staff also use the data produced by these products internally for legal review and
other purposes.
This is also an Agile project, which is one of the most invaluable & in-demand methodologies
at USPTO. Mr. Gurshteyn stood out majestically amongst his peers and was a quick learner,
and team player, who took direction with enthusiasm for learning and advancing his abilities.
He has performed in sprint, ad hoc, regression & end to end testing. He automated sprint test
cases on time using Test complete tool. He also performed backend testing using SQL
Developer. He has strong automation & programing as well as analytical skills. He is a
multitasker & always made the deadlines.
He showed great dedication and he proved that he is very confident of his goals and very
devoted to achieving them.
Mr. Gurshteyn is a hardworking, top-performing IT professional. He has my highest
recommendation. and I am happy to provide more details if you would like additional
information.
