This document discusses music therapy and the health benefits of listening to music with binaural beats. It begins by defining music and its importance in life. It then introduces binaural brainwave entrainment, which uses different frequencies played into each ear to induce specific brainwave states. There are five main brainwave states (delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma) that are associated with different health benefits. The document proposes studying how binaural beats can affect mood, performance, and determine if listening to music with binaural beats is safe. It plans to address these questions over three chapters, discussing the brainwave states and benefits, how binaural beats impact the brain and person, and provide a guide for

as Binaural Brainwave Entrainment.
• “Binaural” refers to “relating to” or “having” or “hearing”
with two ears.
• Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the
brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing
sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit
the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging
the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

Conclusion
. We listens different kind of music every day or sometimes we hear different kinds of beats out of nowhere. Music can change our mood and its either happy when the music is lively, sad when the music is very solemn. Music touches us emotionally gives us wing that can take us anywhere. When a person listens to music it can influence or affect him/her physically or emotionally.
Music is the science or art of incorporating pleasing, expressive, or intelligible combinations of vocal or instrumental tones into having definite structure, and continuity. Music can also be a way of expressing thoughts, or feelings of a person.
To a lot of people music plays a vital part in their life, when they want to have fun, when they are sad, when they have a special occasion, when they want to relax, when they work for entertainment, Music is easily available for them. What if we put music and health care together and to receive health benefits from it, both physical and mental health that’s music therapy. Music therapy is for everyone for all ages. From babies, young children, teenagers, adults, elders, for people are facing health challenges or for people who want to maintain healthy wellness in their life.
Music can affect the body in many health promoting ways which is the basis for a growing field of health care known as Music Therapy. You can use music in your daily activities and achieve many stress relief benefits on your own. Music provides a wonderful backdrop for your life and you can find increased enjoyment from what you’re doing while reducing stress from your day.
But how does listening to music help to ease and fasten a certain task we do every day like driving, learning, working out, relaxing and many more. Listening to music can be a quick route or way to getting yourself into a good and better mood, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that there’s much more to the benefits of music than just a quick boost for your outlook.
Music has a lot of wonderful benefits for stress management and overall health. It can help you to calm your mind and your physiology without making a conscious effort, and that can alleviate stress from your mind.

Music plays an important role in our lives, it can help us to relax, concentrate, and when we are working out. And if this song makes you happy, it’s because your brain chemistry. Why do we find music so enjoyable? Researcher from Mcgill University, Montreal found that Dopamine released during moments of enjoyment while listening to music gives us the chills. The same chemical reaction as we fall in love. Basically listening to music is amazing and your brain loves it. Music distracts your brain from registering the body’s fatigue. It increases endurance while improving the heart and muscles giving music both a psychological and physiological impact on the body. Did you know that playing a musical instrument can make you smarter? According to a 2008 study, children with three years of musical training performed better during testing for nonverbal reasoning, fine motor skills, auditory discrimination and vocabulary than those who did not. Nevertheless, Music has a measurably significant effect on human beings, influencing the way we dance, exercise, and think.
From the advances of the technology and knowledge in neuroscience and brain research just in the last few years is that Meditation is one of the most powerful stress relieving tools available to us. These meditation experiences are designed to stimulate your mind into a state of relaxation, inspiration, energy, and focus by helping you reach a stable meditation practice with only a few minutes each day.
(Puff 2011) 14.
Around 18th century a physicist by the name Heinrich Willhelm Dove discovered a method of meditation know as Binaural Brainwave Entrainment. Over a hundred years later, a research scientist named Gerald Osler Published an article Entitled Auditory Beats in the Brain. His research helped to bring widespread attention to this powerful technology.
The term “binaural” refers to the perception of sound by your two ears. In physics, entrainment occurs when two systems oscillating at different frequencies independently are brought together in synchronization.
Binaural entrainment is the process of introducing different auditory frequencies into each ear, which causes your brain to create its own third signal, known as a Binaural Beat, equal to the difference between the two tones, scientists call this effect Frequency Following Response, or FFR. For example, if a frequency of 500hz is played in your left ear and 510 in your right ear, your brain will detect the difference and produce a third frequency at 10hz. This process allows you to enter a deeply focused meditative state within minutes. There are types of brainwave frequencies. This is Delta, Theta, Alpha, and Beta and Gamma.
In order for binaural entrainment to work at its best, you will need a pair of stereo headphones. You need to
be willing to relax and
in order to receive
focus on the tones
the maximum benefit. Though binaural brainwave entrainment makes meditation much easier, you still need to push yourself to use it every day until it becomes a habit. Start using it for 20 minutes a day. And work your way up to an hour. You’ll notice that your tolerance for stressful situation will become much higher, and as you start to think healthier thoughts, you will become healthier.
The researcher will show some study that it can benefit people suffering from anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. The binaural beats improved mood, performance, and vigilance.
