to create a smooth color transition on
your wall. Mark levels on the wall at
regular intervals using a pencil and
measuring tape.
Step 1: Take a gauge
4. Apply the lighter color to one half of the
wall using a roller, making sure to slightly
overlap the planned dividing line to
achieve a neat, divided wall with ease.
When you want a polished appearance,
let the paint dry.
Step 2: Use a lighter shade of color
5. Use a thread wrapped in chalk to divide
your wall colors precisely at designated
locations. To leave a chalk line, stretch the
string, make sure it's straight, and secure
the ends using masking tape.
To achieve a clean and polished finish,
make sure the first paint layer is
completely dry before placing a strip of
masking tape along the chalk line to
create a distinct color division.
Step 3 & 4: Chalk up and Mask up
6. Apply the darker color to the second half
of your two-tone wall with a roller to
finish it off. Make sure you've painted
slightly above the masking tape's edge by
using a paintbrush.
Step 5: Use the second shade
7. When the paint is still wet, remove the
masking tape to reveal your newly
created two-tone wall pattern with ease.
