Academic Profile
I am a committed Artist, Director, and Curator, who thrives in interdisciplinary environments.
As a Gallery Director, I foster artists and curators to produce exhibitions that are socially relevant
and engage with students and academic programs. I believe in long-term partnerships that grow
each year. I have six years of university gallery experience paired with a history of event program-
ming, grant writing, and education at non-profit galleries and museums. On campus, I work closely
with the Chair of Art and Design Department and the Art on Campus Committee to collaborate on
exhibitions, programs, and night of the arts events that expand interdepartmental dialogues.
Revealing the daily practice of artists, promoting contemporary discourse, and offering exchanges
between artists and students are at the center of my focus. I foster Graphic Design interns and
work-study students; I create independent study opportunities based on exhibition research
topics. I am engaged with my community by serving on the Curatorial Advisory Board at Artspace
in New Haven, CT. I exhibit artists on the roster of Driscoll Babcock Galleries in New York, and I
produce exhibitions that partner with various institutions to share funding and resources. I believe in
building lasting relationships with artists and art organizations to create a diverse support system for
contemporary artists and curators. I am eager to shape your department and campus community.
