2. Playing the bass
Playing the bass is an occupation I have been doing for 8 years. It shapes
my occupational identity because it is something that I am very
passionate about and is something that people associate with me.

3. Going to church
This is an occupation that I have done all my life and is a big part of
who I am. I find a sense of belonging by meeting with a group of like
minded people.

4. Baking
Baking is something that I gain enjoyment and satisfaction from. I like
to do it to de-stress. I find it a fun way to be creative.

Pilates is an occupation I engage in for health and fitness. I get
satisfaction from seeing myself being able to get stronger the more
that I participate.
6. Running
Running is an occupation I have recently started doing. It shapes my
occupational identity by keeping me fit and giving me satisfaction. It also
provides socialisation as I go running with my friend.

7. Working
Working was an occupation I was engaged in for three years before I
started study. It has shaped my occupational identity by giving me skills
that will provide a foundation for who I am becoming.

8. Studying Occupational Therapy:
Studying and being a student is an occupation I am presently engaged
in. It is the occupation that involves the most of my time. The skills
and knowledge that I am learning are helping me to develop as a
person in order to become an Occupational Therapist in the future.

9. Becoming an Occupational
Therapist
Being an occupational by studying with Otago Polytechnic. therapist is an
occupation I will engage in in the future. I am working towards this now

10. Spending time with family.
My family is very important to me, so spending time with them is
something I value. My family give me a sense of belonging and have
shaped who I have become. They have also influenced the occupations
that I engage in.

11. Socialising.
Spending time with friends is something that I really enjoy doing. It is
an occupation that I do often as my friends are important to me. Being
with friends gives me a sense of belonging and connectedness.
