1. Annuit Coeptis is a nonprofit formedon thebasis ofgiving families
who are experiencing homelessness a new start. Weunderstand that
homelessness stems frommore than justnot having a home tolive,
but a lack ofcommunity services,education, anddisconnectedness
within thefamily structure. Annuit Coeptis favors thosewho arein
this positionfor we realize that when peopleareat their most
venerablepositions they arealso attheposition where they can
embracechange,take opportunity given, and turn their lives around.
This is an amazing journey,andto beableto bea part ofthatis a
blessing which wereceivegraciously.
We not only wantto providethem with what they need tosurvive,
which food is clothing andshelter; wewantto givethem thetools to
thrive from this place forward intheirlives. Thereis no limit towhat
one can achieve,andwith the elements placeddelicatelyin the right
place they willsucceed!
The purposeof our nonprofitis to correctoneofthe issues within
the world whichis homelessness. To notonly givethese families and
individuals thephysiological needs butto takeallthat wehave
learnedand implement themvia caseplans.We want to takethese
families frombeing homeless to supporting themselves and having a
backup planso that they cannever beinthesame placeagain.
There are many families in the need ofa brand new beginning, but
not enough programs to assist withthis journey. Weseea need,
thereforewe wouldlike toget in thereand assist withtransitioning
broken, homeless, helpless individuals & families intoa better
position. Wecannotstress howimportant having thenecessary
resources can makeintheprocess ofgiving thesefamilies the
quantum leap they sodesperately need. . Wewill not takeourjobs
lightly. Ahomeless shelter thatcaters to theentirefamily as a unit
would be a monopoly on the market.

Our mission is tosee a need and fulfill it; to not leave one
person behind. To restore the faith and hope in the
community by bringing the ones that are left behind by
society up to par with the rest. To level the playing field
when it comes to giving out resources and opportunities.
We believe we are only as strong as our weakest and to
bring them upwill strengthen the human race as a whole.

My name is Latasha Lee. I amPresident and founder ofAnnuit
Coeptis. I ama student ofbusiness andpublic administration,
an entrepreneur andmother. Thosethatknowme willsay I am
a bit eccentricbutwarm.My spirituality guides meand my
mission inlifeclosely correlates with the mission ofour
organization.
Having experiencedthestateofhomelessness andhaving to
start over from nothing I canappreciatethesituationofour
clients. I was anunmarriedmother of5 caughtup ina
domestically violent relationship. I know howhard it is to
come from nothing to acquire something. These skills which I
was given andlearned I willpass onto the next. I havelivedin
one ofthe best homeless shelters in Cincinnati; inmy opinion.
The experiencewas phenomenal; I know I havefoundmy
calling in this life. I can takewhatwas positiveimplement
those attributes, and takewhatwas missing andfind a way to
input those practices.
After tragedy struckme inmy young life I toofoundmyself in
the position to where I hadto leavea safewarm hometo the
cold strangeworld ofhomelessness.Finding strengthin the
time ofopposition has broughtme todiscover my one true
purpose inthis life; to servethosein need.
Our organization cares for theposition ofman kind;to not
only remedy homelessness butto putthem in a better
situationby providing them opportunity. Withthechance
presents itself, webelieve peoplewilltake extraordinary
strides.
