years. The foundation of our
success in providing this vital
support has been built on the
strength of many dedicated
volunteers and community
partners.
Volunteer
The YWCA Program is always looking
for committed people from varied
backgrounds to make a positive impact
for victims of domestic violence and
sexual assault.
 Advocates must be at least 18 years
of age.
 Volunteers receive free training to
assist in answering our crisis line and
provide on-call hospital
accompaniment.
 Volunteers are also needed to assist
with child care at the shelter — there
are no age restrictions for this
opportunity.
