By the end of the session, all students will be able to:
 Recall AR and MR of ss20 & 18 OAPA 1861
 Cite relevant cases, paraphrase facts and apply the law
 Analyse scenario qns and apply law
 Fill in table – summarise definitions and cases
 Answer nominated questions and answers throughout session
 Recall the information and explain in respect of case cards
For stretch and challenge, some students will also be able to:
 Justify the difference in sentencing options for ss 20 & 18
 Argue pros and cons of jury trial
(AB, LR, VW, RB)
 Evaluate facts of scenario and justify imposition of s20 or s18
 Practice exam question
To meet individual learning needs in the session, some students will
need additional support such as:
 Suggestions for table - a completed version is available on the
