Assessment Environment: Ideally, all TAE candidates should be working in or have access to an operating training
and assessment environment such as an RTO, a training division in an enterprise, government or community
organization, or training services applied in a voluntary agency. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
Students undertaking the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are expected to have sound skills in language,
literacy and numeracy. Write effective assignments, Deliver oral presentations to different audiences, Produce
quality documents such as assessment tools and student handouts, Conduct extensive research, Analyze a range of
training, assessment and workplace documents, Computing Skills, Students must have computing skills and access
