ORIGINS
I am English, I come from Sussex in the South of England, maybe you’ve heard of Brighton?
CULTURE
I have a degree in education and a degree in Intellectual History.
VALUES
I strongly believe in finding the win-win in any situation and in leading my students to realize their
full potential.
NARRATIVE (using STAR method)
I’d like to share with you an accomplishment I’m particularly proud of. During the year 2013, I had
a student who appeared to be very quiet in class and it was difficult for me to judge her needs, she
didn’t seem to want to interact either with me or her peers. I took her aside and managed to find
the right tone to encourage her to talk to me and to tell me the real reasons behind her reticence
in English. I gave her a special project to develop her confidence and communication skills and at
the end of the term she scored a 14 for her oral abilities.
PERSONALITY
I am results-focused, I think I have leadership qualities that help me to encourage my students to
do their best, and I am mostly patient and a good listener.
BENEFITS
My added value to the ESCE is my experience, my knowledge of how to coach the best out of my
students and my language awareness, which enables me to make students understand the rules
behind grammar and syntax.
