MEMORANDUM FOR WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
FROM: AFLCMC/EZPT-NDIO
4750 Staff Drive
Tinker AFB, OK 73145-3317
SUBJECT: Estimated USAF Nondestructive Inspection Experience Hours for Kyle Fell
1. This memorandum certifies that Kyle Fell has served in the United States Air Force as an
active duty technician in the Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Career Field (AFSC 2A7X2) from
September 2010 to January 2016. This memorandum also certifies, by discipline, estimated
hands-on experience expressed in hours performing Nondestructive Inspection.
Liquid Penetrant Inspection PT 2268 hours
Magnetic Particle Inspection MT 1565 hours
Eddy Current Inspection ET 2093 hours
Ultrasonic Inspection UT 734 hours
Radiographic Inspection RT 1241 hours
2. USAF NDI technicians were not required to maintain logs to formally document experience
hours during this timeframe, so the AF NDI Office developed an algorithm to estimate
equivalent experience hours based on average workloads across USAF weapon systems and
operating locations. The above experience hours were calculated using that algorithm.
3. Any questions regarding this memorandum may be directed to Jacklyn Killian, (405)734-
1880.
