Profile
I am currently student at State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia primary majoring in Chemistry and
secondary majoring in Mathematics with overall GPA 3.44, major GPA 3.42 and my expected graduation is upcoming
December,2016. Since I have been working many positions in campus, I have learned patience, consideration, optimistic
attitude via helping students not only provide an answer for their problems, but also help them to adapt to new
circumstances and study skills in the college. Also, working in severallaboratories as a Teaching Assistant, T.A., and
undergraduate student researcher in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry based on organic synthesis research lab,
which I am currently researching in since 2014 Fall, those several laboratory experiences make me encouraged,
motivated, and manageable person. In addition, I also worked in the college tutoring services as a tutor in Mathematics
and Chemistry from since September, 2013 to December,2015, based on this work, my communication in English is
fluent and know how to communicate with people as a group.
Skills
 Verification compounds via using TLC, Thin Layer Chromatography.
 Control and evaluate data using 500 MHz H NMR, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.
 Distinguish different circumstance of carbon atom from compound using C-13 NMR.
 Data analysis of two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance,2D NMR specific in COSY.
 Purification of compound using Column Chromatography with silica gel.
 Separation of Organic phase and aqueous phase by Extraction.
 Thermally accelerate the reaction using Reflux and Distillation.
 Demonstrate compound using conversion factors of calculation.
 Data analysis and identification of compound having various functional groups using Mass Spectrometry.
 Estimate functional groups via region of electromagnetic spectrum of Infrared Spectroscopy.
 Evaluate with study of electromagnetic radiation absorbed and emitted using Atomic Spectroscopy.
 Separation of analyte with Gas Chromatography.
 Into the capillary column, sample analyte in solvent put in High Performance Liquid Chromatograph, HPLC for
separation, identification and quantification of each component in mixture.
 Well-imagination of 3-dimensional structure.
 Self-motivated to learn and research.
 Dealing in time management of research project.
 Communicate with people who are working with as a team.
 Ability to deal with any algebra, proof, and geometry based in mathematics and any conceptual chemistry classes
with actuallaboratories.
 4 years of experience in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
 2 years of experience in Mathematica and 3 years of experience in Chemsketch.
 Patience and endurance.
Accomplishments
Since I have been working in laboratory and teaching fields in college, the most thing I learned are patience, endurance,
and self-motivation. Second is verbal, explain, understand materials and apply to advanced stuff skills. Before I started to
work as a T.A. and a tutor at learning center, even the easiest material that I know, I need to apply to student make
understand, also, it makes to speak and communicate with them. The last thing I could earned from working as a tutor is I
started reorganizing myself and get to be improved manage the time. Since I started Mathematics degree,I received Fawzi
Yaqub Award from MAA in April 2014, the Mathematical Association of America, and Albert Polimeni Award in April
2015.
