RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
1. [Nationwide Retail Outlet Market Research and Billboard Census For MTN Ghana]
Project carried out for telecom service providers MTN by DC Maps & More. Mapping of retail outlets
and billboards was carried out using GPS instruments and paper maps. Being the coordinator for both
census programs, I effectively managed and monitored the update of existing maps with the attribute
and thematic data collected using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
2. [Research on coastal processes and its effects on infrastructural development]
Research (coastal survey) undertaken along the eastern part of the Ghanaian coast, precisely the
Nautical beach – Nungua, Ada Foah beach – Ada and the Keta beach – Keta in February, 2009.
3. [Photogrammetry for the mapping of the Barikese Dam]
KNUST fourth year engineering project submitted to the department of Geomatic Engineering
(January-May, 2008) under the supervision of project lecturer Mr. A.B. Agyemang.
