Customer: Credit-suisse.com
Implementing Firm: Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Period : Feb 2015 to till date.
Description: It’s an internal application of Credit-Suisse which is all about position calculation.
Seccompas is front office position management system, currently supporting equity and equity
Derivative trading for principal accounts. It provides position maintenance, daily trading P&L, and
position and cash reconciliation functionality for individual positions, with account and desk level
aggregations through a common GUI.
Activities covered: Functional Testing
Regression testing.
Performance Testing.
Recovery Testing.
Sanity testing.
Capacity Testing.
Roles and Responsibility:
Requirements study & Planning - Analyze and understand the new & change requests. Interacted
closely with the development team for requirement analysis.
Prepare the requirement traceability Matrix by identifying test scenario & cases for each change
requests and update on a regular basis.
Preparation of Test Cases - Identify scenarios and prepare test cases and uploading in to QC
Query Tracking - Query escalation and resolution with the domain experts and dev team.
Issues and Status Tracking - Tracking issues on a timely basis. Logging defects in QC.
Defect Prevention and Causal Analysis - Perform causal analysis and find out the common causes of
defects as well as preventive action. Publish the defect and test execution report to manager and dev
team.
Inserting the Trades through different tools (like vex order tool, Client simulator,AGRSQL,Fix Protocol)
and the checking the log files on the unix environment. Testing of the procedure, functions and views.
Reconciliation: Testing of the FO/BO reconciliation view which allows the user to track SOD and EOD
breaks between the front office and back office, research the front office trades, and apply the
transactions to settle the breaks.
