i IBS-systemet, kan han fortelle at
selskapet er i gang med en endrings-
prosess. Restrukturering og nye an-
settelser i ledelsen skal gi IBS ny giv
og større markedsandeler. Lokale
småkonger må nå rette seg etter den
globale strategien.
– Dette sier mye om veksttan-
kegangen vi er i gang med nå, sier
Norling.
ROI-fokus
IBS,somerengammeltraveriforret-
ningssystembransjen,satsernåforfullt
påettydeligbransjefokus.Itilleggskal
dehadetNorlingkalleret«predefinert
fokus». Dette innebærer at kundene
skal kunne kjøpe programvare som i
utgangspunktetertilpassetdenbran-
sjendehørerhjemmei.Skreddersøm
og spesialtilpasninger kan de kjøpe i
andrefaseavprosjektet.
–Deteretmyestørrefokuspåre-
turnofinvestment(ROI)ogdetotale
eierskapskostnadene(TCO)hoskun-
deneenntidligere,sierHjelseth.
– Tidsalderen der man brukte
fire-fem år på en systemanskaffelse
før man så resultater av investerin-
gen, er over.
Ifølge IBS skal en installasjon
nå være mulig å gjennomføre på
10 uker.
Ikke prosjektorienterte
IBS skal heller ikke jakte på kunder
innen alle segmenter. Norling vil
satse på produksjonsbedrifter, men
ikke de prosjektorienterte.
– SAP, Lawson og IFS er de vi er
nærmest, men vi skal for eksempel
ikke konkurrere med IFS om de
som driver med prosjektorientert
produksjon. Innenfor vårt kake-
stykke av markedet er vi derimot
svært konkurransedyktige, sier
han.
– Vi har gjennomført en spør-
reundersøkelse i markedet, og det
er veldig mange som er ute og tit-
ter etter ny leverandør for tiden,
forteller han.
