9. FAQs
An extended version of FAQs can be found on our Facebook page.
Can I set up a tent?
Knox members – we will have a large Swamp set up on the second corner and everyone is
welcome, just plonk your chair down.
All other clubs have been offered to have a site allocated.
Personal tents can be set up from 8am SATURDAY. Any tent put up before this will be removed
as we will still be setting up and the tent could be in the way. Please respect the spray painted
tent allocations.
Do I need to check if my transponder is working?
Yes, all riders must check their transponder is functioning by running it over the test pad near
registration and check the allocated details are correct.
Can I come to staging with my child ?
Only sprockets (7 and under) can have assistance in staging .
Do we get a break?
Yes, there will be a short break around 20min between motos 2 and 3 on Saturday night and
after Semis on Sunday. Head down to the canteen, buy a raffle ticket and something to munch
on.
How can I find out whether I made a Semi/Final?
Go to www.ezeventing.com.au – go to the Thunderdome event page and check the results.
What’s an Invitational Final?
The top 8 riders in each class progress through to the MAIN FINAL. All the other riders get to
participate in an Invitational Final. So even if you didn’t make the MAIN you should go to staging
during finals.
I’m not happy with something to do with racing/staging who do I see?
Our Riders advocate can help you. Please ask any official (they are the ones in head sets) to get
the Riders advocate for you.
Is there a Presentation?
Non-competitive classes will be awarded over the line. Competitive classes will have their
Presentation about 15 min after racing...time to pack up all you stuff and come back and enjoy
the awards ceremony.
This is my first Open/Thunderdome and I’m a bit unsure?
We will have our Novice Guide wearing a Knox Polo in and around the staging area to help you
with any concerns or questions.

12. Thank You
The Knox BMX Club would like to take this
opportunity to thank the many people that
helped prepare the facility for racing this event.
Thanks to all the officials volunteering over the
weekend and BMXV– without you we are not
racing!
