7. Students in 4th grade have nightly homework
in Math and/or Reading. They should have
homework completed when they walk into
class each morning. Failure to complete
homework will result in a consequence of
filling a missing work sheet that parents need
to sign. Parents will decide if student should
complete missing work at home or during the
student’s recess.

15. • May my student bring in birthday treats?
Yes, treats must be store-bought, pre-packaged, and nut-free. They must be healthy
and not sugary. Must be single serve. Any drinks must be single-served, not poured,
and can be juice or water. Napkins or a roll of paper towel would be helpful! The
teacher will determine the best time of day to pass out treats.
• When will my student’s teacher respond to
my message?
During the school day, your student’s teacher is actively involved in classroom
activities. We will respond to all messages within a timely manner. However, our
workday ends at 4:00 so we will sometimes reply the next day. We appreciate your
understanding, as at times we are hurrying out the door to make it to an appointment
or family event.
