Kip Harrell is a Career Management Consultant with Right Management and is an
experienced, senior level, results-oriented career coaching, counseling and
leadership development professional with a deep focus on talent and skills
assessment, university relations, interview coaching, and career decision making.
Consulting Experience
Kip joined Right Management in the fall of 2014 as a project employee and has
worked with the Chicago, Deerfield and Oak Brook offices in Illinois. Although he
lives in Davenport, Iowa, he is aligned with our Cedar Rapids, Iowa office and works
with clients throughout the Midwest.
Kip has more than 20 years of private sector experience in HR, Talent Assessment &
Acquisition and Operations Management at Fortune 100 companies and professional
services firms including Accenture and AT&T. He spent more than a decade in the
higher education industry at the MBA, Executive MBA and graduate degree levels.
Business/Organizational Leadership Experience
During his time in the private sector, Kip led HQ and business unit functions for HR,
Talent Management and Practice Operations Management while based in Chicago,
Washington DC, and Denver in the U.S., and in Geneva, Switzerland and Moscow,
Russia.
While living in Europe, Kip worked with senior executives learning to hone their HR,
talent assessment and employee retention skills in more than 30 countries. He has
also worked with more than 100 colleges and universities worldwide.
Kip also lived in Phoenix where he served as the VP - Career and Professional
Development for the global locations of Thunderbird - the world’s #1 international
business school. He led the career, professional and employer development, alumni
career management functions and many of the student services operations across
the university. He designed the leadership development program for high potential
students and served on the President’s Leadership Council. Kip played a leadership
role in many university functions including University Admissions and served as a
member of the Faculty Advisory and Curriculum Development Committees.
