Exodus 19:5-6
5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then
out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.
Although the whole earth is mine,
6 you[a] will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy
nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the
Israelites.”
4. Deuteronomy 28
28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow
all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will
set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these
blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey
the Lord your God:
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the
country.
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops
of your land and the young of your livestock—the
calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

20 And God spoke all these words:
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or

worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the
sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing
love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

6. Law of Moses
24 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron,
Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. You are to worship
at a distance, 2 but Moses alone is to approach the Lord; the others
must not come near. And the people may not come up with him.”
3 When Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws,
they responded with one voice, “Everything the Lord has said we will
do.” 4 Moses then wrote down everything the Lord had said.
7. Law of Moses
He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the
mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes
of Israel. 5 Then he sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt
offerings and sacrificed young bulls as fellowship offerings to the Lord.
6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he
splashed against the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant
and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything the
Lord has said; we will obey .

when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel

It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.

I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.

again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”
17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. 18 For I tell
you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body
given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in
my blood, which is poured out for you.[a]
15. New Covenant
5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the
firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the
earth.To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by
his blood,
6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his
God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever!
