Letter of Recommendation re: Engineered Tax Services
CTA Architects Engineers (CTA) was an early adopter of the 179D program, partnering with
Engineered Tax Services (ETS) in 2009. The ETS team has been integral in our process of
vetting candidate projects as well as providing all of CTA’s 179D studies since 2009.
In 2015, CTA engaged ETS for its research & development tax credit study. For the previous
six years, CTA had utilized the services of a large national provider. It was clear at the inception
of the engagement, that ETS was committed to helping us to maximize our tax credit. ETS was
diligent in its planning and interviews to understand the type of services we provide to better
identify work and projects that incurred qualifying research expenses. We were pleased with
the results of the 2015 study and feel that we received a better study at less cost.
I would not hesitate to recommend the services of ETS should you need studies related to 179D
