1. Little Shop of Grooming
Internet Marketing
Goals: To generate more business using the Internet and to engage customers in being a part of
the Little Shop of Grooming family.
Facebook
I will create a business page for Little Shop of Grooming. It will include many pictures, which I
will take at the shop. Posts will include information on any grooming specials you are offering
at the time, dog care tips, how to keep your dog healthy, Dog of the Week, etc. Posts will
engage customers to take part of the conversation. Your logo will be included.
Cost: $200 for production of Facebook page. $25 per month for maintenance and updates.
Website
I will take the less expensive route and use a web page template. Templates are just as good as a
programmed website, but cost less. There will be your logo, grooming specials, and the best
ways to take care of your dog in the website. Your contact information and services provided
will be included. The website will be written with SEO (search engine optimization) in order for
it to rank high in Google searches. Meta tags with keywords like “grooming Ocoee,” for
example, will be used. Pictures will enhance the site and we could have a page where your dog
“writes” a blog (I will do this).
Cost: $200 for the programming of website. $25 per month for maintenance and updates.
Ezine.com
Ezine.com is a website where you post articles relevant to your business with strong keywords
and links to your Facebook page and website. Traffic from the articles to your Facebook page
and website increases your business’ ranking in Google searches. I suggest two articles of 500
words per week.
Cost: $25 for two articles. $100 per month.
2. Newsletter Email
We will need to get the email addresses of every customer that you have. The email newsletter
will be sent every month with specials and discounts. The Refer a Friend program will be
included in the newsletter. I suggest that for every customer that refers a friend and that friend
follows through with an appointment, both customers will receive $5 off their next groom.
Articles and many pictures will also be included in the newsletter.
Cost: $25 per newsletter
