4. 1.
Andela UX process
UX is all about solving for user needs. We talk to users all the time.
This enables us to know what we are solving for.
5. - Survey and Questionnaires
- Interviews
Step 1.
User Research
It’s a process of understanding user needs, wants, and behaviors using
different observation and feedback collection methods.
This is the very first step that any design process will need.
6. Step 2.
Build User Persona (analysis)
Great, so now you got some first data about your users,
what they need and what they expect.
Summarize those users into user personas.
You may get 2, 3 or more personas from what was collected.
But wait, what is a persona?
“Personas are fictional characters created to represent different user types / user goals, needs and interests”
7. Step 3.
Create User Stories/Experience Map
Now is the time to bring in the team.
We had personas, we have user insights. Let’s get the party started.
As a < type of user >, I want < some goal > so that < some reason >.
8. Step 3.
Create User flow
Ask everyone to define the goals for user, based on our
product requirements, write these goals into
separates notes and stick it on your brainstorming board like this:
11. Step 4.
Design. Start creating sketches
Sketching serves as a form of prototyping.
It’s fast, iterative, archival, and very easy to do in any setting.
12. Sketches (pen and paper)
Wireframes
Lo-Fidelity mockups
Hi-Fidelity prototypes
Step 4.
Design.Start creating Wireframes and Interaction Prototypes
Nothing’s better than something that give everyone a first
visual impression about the products.
13. Sketches (pen and paper)

Step 4.
Design.Start creating Wireframes and Interaction Prototypes
Nothing’s better than something that give everyone a first
visual impression about the products.
14. Step 5 .
Feedback loop - align with VP - CIO
Based on user testing, various iterations, it’s time to align with the main
stakeholders. They are the main decision makers whether it’s big enough to
matter.
15. Step 6 .
Metrics Analysis
So finally developers finish the first version of our awesome
application, let’s roll out to users.
Here comes our important part of the job, to validate the design.

Design tools (Sketchapp - Craft - Invisionapp)
These are the tools that we use to prototype,
collaborate, get feedback and test the designs.
