● Ensure that good documentation practices are followed and to follow procedure
when testing products.
● Working as part of a team to complete workload on shift to the required standard.
● Ensuring the cleanliness of the laboratory for the next shift.
Achievements:
Worked in a controlled and heavily audit environment.
Worked as part of a team to complete assignments to a high standard using specialised
equipment. Recognised for finding an irregularity regarding a piece of equipment.

Teagasc is the agriculture and food development authority in Ireland. Its purpose is to support
science-based innovation in the agri-food sector and the broader bioeconomy that will increase
profitability, competitiveness and sustainability in global markets.
Responsibilities:
● To ensure that Rural Environmental Protection Scheme forms were filled out correctly
and ensuring that they were properly imputed onto an online database in line with EU
regulation.
● To ensure participating farms obtained their annual payment. Due to the nature of the
information given, strict confidentially about each individual farms was adhered to.
● Accompanying advisors on farm visits and any administrative duties.
Achievements:
I have increased my knowledge of how governmentlegislation is applied and farm safety. Also I
enhanced my typing, computing and Microsoft Office skills.
Skills and Abilities
Training: Manual handling course completed.
Computing skills: Competent using Excel, Powerpoint and Word (with a Word 2006 certificate)
Teamwork: Worked as part of a team for in various projects both in an academic and
non-academic environments.
Communication: In both the working and study environments, communication with other fellow
work colleagues and peers was essential in getting my ideas across and achieving whatever
goals were at hand.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy sports, especially rugby and have been involved in rugby teams in the past.
I am open minded and enjoy traveling, having recently been to Europe, America and Japan.
