1. Secretary: “Hello, good morning. Ongs Educational Company. Who’s onthe line
please?”
Caller: “ I’m Mr. James. Can I speak to the Sales Managers, please?”
Secretary: “I’m sorry sir. He’s out for an important deal. I’m his secretary, what
can I help you sir?”
Caller: Oh! Well, can you help me for our problem?
Secretary: Of course sir.
Caller: Thank you. I put an order for six hundred of your BX45 six weeks ago
but I have not yet received them. The number is 456940 and your
invoice number is 005746.
Secretary: If it is ok with you sir, I will follow from my boss aboutthe problem
so that we can deliver your order soon.
(Jane enters the office.)
She signals Jane to wait until she finishes dealing with the caller.
Caller: Thank you. Please check our orders so that we can have reached the
sales that we need for this month.
Secretary: Sir, I will just ask my boss to call you after his appointment so that
you can talk with him about the reasons of being delayed of your
orders.
Caller: Can I call him at three o’clock?So that I will know when will be the
delivery of the products.
Secretary: “Maybe five o’clockhis here already sir for some signatures of
pertinent papers. We apologized for the delayed orders sir.”
