Brand Origin
Founded by individuals with law enforcement and investment advisory
backgrounds, ActiveTracks™ is the brainchild of friends who decided that there
needed to be a better background screening product offered to the financial
services industry. Given the requirements for investment advisors and fiduciaries
to conduct operational due diligence on secondary money managers, the
question arose as to how the focus could shift from a traditional, static
background check that only reported past information, to a more dynamic,
constantly monitored report that pushed information when a subject's status
changed. The combination of a deep-dive, retroactive report coupled with an
information-pushing monitoring program became the focal point of the
ActiveTracks™ team. Thus, the ActiveTracks™ brand was created to address
the shortcomings and limitations found within the products offered by the
screening industry.
