1. To Whom It May Concern,
When Kenda asked me to assist her in her endeavor of going after a working mom’s scholarship,
I was honored at the chance to do so. She is an inspiration to everyone she encounters. After working
with Kenda, it was very clear how dedicated of a mother, employee and student she is at all times. She is
a true role model.
When Kenda brought her son Trey into work for family day, she could not help but introduce
him to everyone and show him off. She was a proud momma bragging about her “little man” and she is
always thinking about him as she goes through her day. She gets excited when she collects rewards at
work for going above and beyond the call of duty because she then gives them to her son. As a mother,
Kenda is thoughtful and always puts her son first.
At work, Kenda is an exceptional associate, often going out of her way to help out the team in
any way possible. She is cross trained in almost every job in our department. She is an asset to the team
and gets moved around based on business needs without any complaints. She is an awesome associate
and I am proud to have her on my team.
I enjoy celebrating in her victories and accomplishments in school too. I love it when she comes
in and tells me how successful she was on her latest test. It’s great to hear how she consistently makes
the Dean’s list and how confident she is as a student holding down a full time job. Kenda gives me hope
for the future. Her discipline and drive to tackle everything she does to take care of her family and keep
up with work and school never cease to amaze me.
Please consider Ms. Kenda Coleman for the working mom’s scholarship because she is an
amazing woman. This could be just the extra inspiration she needs to continue full steam ahead on this
great journey she has found herself on with us while she pursues her future success. It would be
fantastic to be able to support her with this in thanks for the extra inspiration that she gives me when
she shares her accomplishments.
Sincerely,
Paul Cateil
