MiPAC gives you the freedom to make great music all day, every
Stick to one genre, or explore new musical styles. Focus on your
main instrument, or play different ones in every ensemble. You
may even create your own original works in classes like MiPAC’s
“New MusicalWorkshop,”where campers create and produce an
original one-act musical in just 12 days.

MUSIC ALL DAY.
Born and raised in nearby Fenton,Tim is an Adjunct Professor and
Performing Arts Recruiter at Adrian College. He holds degrees
in Music Theory and Composition from Adrian College and is
currently pursuing an MFA in Music Production & Sound Design.Tim
serves as Music Director of the Prelude String Orchestra; instructor
at A Joyful Noise Music Studio;and composer/consultant for Broken
Television Entertainment.
Keisuke (pronounced CASE-kay) is a professional Hollywood actor
with over 150 credits (Bob’s Burgers, Jane theVirgin, Mad Men, Jimmy
Kimmel Live!, Criminal Minds,The Fosters, iCarly, etc.). He has an MS
inTechnical Communications from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
(RPI) and has worked for NCR, IBM, and AT&T. In 2006, Keisuke
co-founded NYSMF, the NewYork Summer Music Festival, and was
its Resident Actor and Director of Communications through 2013.

Your exciting, jam-packed days of music at MiPAC
are split into six blocks of 60–75 minutes, with
15-minute breaks.
Placement Auditions are held when you arrive to
determine your ensemble seatings. Once results are
posted, select any class you like in any open block
to complete your schedule.
PracticeTime may be scheduled in blocks 1 or 4.
Seatings will change each week.
Campers are encouraged to organize their own
ensembles and classes
develop any musical interest, and to give you
the chance to share it with your new musical
community at MiPAC.
Classes may be added or cancelled as needed.

Whether you’re preparing for a career in music or a life with music,
MiPAC gives you an excellent, solid, and diverse musical base.
MiPAC 2016 CALENDAR
LARGE ENSEMBLES perform 15-minute
programs every Saturday (Concerts A and B).
Up to 15 SMALL ENSEMBLES will be selected to
play short (7min) pieces each Friday (Concert C).
ORIGINAL STUDENT WORKS are presented at
the end of each 2-week session (Concert D).
GUEST ARTISTS provide free masterclasses and
concerts. Check our website for updated dates.
Wednesday KITCHEN SINK RECITALS are your
chance to perform anything. Music, magic, dance,
songs, comedy, vaudeville, contortionism, whatever
(10min) will be
selected via audition each week.

Application Fee $75 (non-refundable)
Tuition | Resident Campers | $1,200/week
Includes ensembles, classes, concerts, housing,
meals, recreational activities, visiting artists,
masterclasses, internet, health services.
Tuition | Day Campers | $800/week
Arr 8 am – Dep 5:30 pm. Does not include
housing, meals, or recreational activities.
Instrument Rental $50–$100/wk
Private Lessons are optional.You may arrange
times and fees directly with your chosen private
lesson teacher. MiPAC suggests $75/hour.
Payments We accept all major credit cards, checks,
cash, and PayPal. Payment plans are available.
Refunds are given only for documented medical
emergencies.

MiPAC offers up to 30 Counselor
and 25 CIT (Counselor inTraining)
positions each summer. Counselors
receive a full tuition discount and
must be at least 18 years of age;
CITs receive a 50% discount and
must be at least 16 years old.

The closest train and bus stations are in Jackson,Ann Arbor, andToledo.
The closest major airport is Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).Taxi service to
Adrian runs $75–$125.
MiPAC Shuttle Service
MiPAC can send an adult staff member for pickup/dropoff to Jackson,Ann
Arbor, andToledo ($60 one-way), and to Detroit ($100 one way). Up to
two campers may ride for the same price.

advance to make arrangements.
MiPAC is hosted at Adrian College in
the city of Adrian, MI.
Adrian, MI (pop. 21,000) was founded in
1826 and is the county seat of Lenawee
County.The city is at the junction of US
223 and MI 52, just 35 miles from Ann
Arbor, Jackson andToledo; and 70 miles
from Detroit.
Adrian College (1,700 students) is a
private liberal arts school, recently named
the #1 Midwest College by US News and
World Report.
