3. Compare and Contrast
This photo shows texture on the lower part of the photo as if a rock
was to crumble into a million little pieces and is now just lying
underneath the benches seeping under the grass. The second
element of are has many shapes such as, octagons, diamonds,
rectangles, and circles. My last one is kind of both shallow and deep,
because in my digital it looks more deep because everything is
focused; however in my film it looks shallow because the
background is blurry.
4. One thing I have in
Abstraction my picture is leading
lines; I have this
because by looking at
the guitar strings they
make your eyes follow
up the neck of my
guitar.
The second function
of art is shallow depth
of field, my focus was
on the strings and the
wave of my guitar, the
back of this picture and
the top of the neck on
the guitar are blurred
out causing shallow
depth of field.
Last but not least
would be rhythm
because the strings on
the guitar create a
pattern and a nice flow
through the picture.
5. Choice#1 Space- My picture has the
vocabulary word space
because there are different
parts of the picture that stick
out more than others, the
slide is what look the most
3-D in this picture.
Movement- This picture has
movement because your
eyes want to follow the
twists in the slides and
wonder what they do when
it goes of the glossy paper.
Asymmetrical Balance- The
last thing my picture has is
asymmetrical balance, and
it has this because all the
weight in the picture goes to
the right, creating a heavy
flow on one side.
6. Contrast- The smoke
Choice#2 creates the excitement
in this photo, along with
the dark and light
contrast parts of this
photo.
Movement- My
second vocabulary
word in this photo is
movement; with your
eyes you follow the
smoke off the picture.
What do you think
happened on the left
side off of the picture?
Asymmetrical
balance- Last but not
least my photo has
asymmetrical
balance, all the weight
is carried on the left
side of the photo
