As a Patient Food Service Manager of Ohio State University Medical Center, I am writing to you
in support of Kathryn Spada with all of her future endeavors. Katie has held the position of
Student Nutrition Aide for about 8 months, and I personally wish the time had been longer. She
was a model employee for exactly the type of quality we aim for at our Medical Center. She
continuously excelled while working with us, and frequently even above and beyond the normal
duties of her position. Katie also somehow found the time to help out other students by picking
up their shifts when they were in need, while she herself juggled school, work, and being the
captain of Ohio State University’s National Championship Synchronized Swim Team. We were
very lucky to have had someone with such great leadership qualities for these 8 short months,
and this is why she will continue to excel in any aspect of life that she chooses. I highly
recommend Katie for any future position, internship, etc., as I know anyone who works with her
will have the pleasure of realizing how accurate my words of praise truly are. Please do not
