Flegga has set as ultimate goal the protection of traditional Greek cheeses
and the production of the most tasteful, original Greek flavors, all in high
quality specifications. Flegga combines tradition and modernization
resulting in steady quality and taste.
The Laitsos family, with a long-standing tradition in cheese making, has
recently perfected the infrastructure of the factory to serve as a model in the
dairy produce field. There, in their traditionally natural settings, the
traditional Greek P.D.O cheeses of Flegga are "born".

7. At our premises we produce a wide range of traditional cheese products as well
as a series of light and low-fat products, responding to customers' needs. The
products, following, are available at various packaging and tins, with the
possibility of adjusting to even more if needed from customers.

9. Greek Feta Cheese P.D.O.
Produced out of pasteurized Greek goat &
sheep milk.
Max humidity 56% and min fat content 24%.
A tasty cheese.
Rich in nutrients.
Tasting tips… Feta is consumed as appetizer, side
dish, salad ingredient- especially Greek Horiatiki
Salad- and traditional Greek pie filling, or, even
better, try it with watermelon during summer!
11. Kasseri Cheese P.D.O.
Semi-hard yellow cheese, produced out of
pasteurized Greek sheep milk.
Elastic texture.
Pungent, mild flavor.
Tasting tips… Consumed as an
appetizer, side dish or in sandwiches.
12. Kefalotyri Cheese
Produced out of pasteurized Greek goat & sheep milk.
Excellent natural attributes.
Rich taste, flavor and aroma.
Tasting tips… Do you might want to taste
the well-known Greek Saganaki? Just fry
kasseri cheese breaded with flour in extra
virgin olive oil.
13. Graviera Cheese P.D.O.
Hard yellow cheese produced out of
pasteurized Greek goat & sheep milk, with
excellent natural attributes and rich taste,
flavor and aroma.
Tasting tips… Taste it accompanied by a good
wine uncooked or fried (Greek Saganaki)!
14. Graviera Cheese with Peppercorns
Produced out of pasteurized Greek goat
& sheep milk.
A mixture of black, red, green, and white
peppercorns gives Graviera a unique
spicy taste.
Tasting tips… Its spicy taste suits perfect
with a Cabernet Sauvignon wine.
15. Goat Cheese
White cheese produced out of
pasteurized Greek goat milk.
Low fat and good protein levels.
Tasting tips… Goat Cheese is consumed as appetizer,
side dish and as traditional Greek pie filling.
16. Melted Butter
Produced out of goat cream, from
pasteurized Greek goat milk.
Tasting tips… Use as spreads for dishes &
pastries. Gives an excellent flavor to foods
and aromatize pastries and sweets.
17. Manouri Cheese P.D.O
Manouri is a semi- soft fresh white whey
cheese, enriched with pasteurized cream
from goat or sheep milk.
Tasting Tips… Manouri cheese is used in
salads, pastries, as a dessert cheese, and in
other dishes. Wherever a sweet, rich cheese
is used, consider manouri. It may be
substituted for cream cheese when making
cheesecake.
18. Halloumi Cheese
Halloumi cheese is a Cypriot semi-hard,
unripened brined cheese, from a mixture of
pasteurized goat's and sheep's milk.
Tasting Tips… Halloumi cheese is used in salads,
in a pie (halloumi pie), as a stuffing (Halloumi-
stuffed peppers) or as fried Saganaki flavored with
oregano and griddle – or better still, on the
barbecue.
19. Our quality control system demands daily
inspections on raw milk and dairy products, in
different steps during the production, to assure
that milk collectors and processors are following
the correct methods.
