Theme : Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks remain a major security
problem, the mitigation of these attacks, which is very hard especially when it comes to
highly distributed botnet-based attacks. The early discovery of these attacks is challenging,
and necessary to protect end-users as well as the expensive network infrastructure resources.
we addresses the problem of DDoS attacks, DDoS attacks usually involve early stage actions
such as multistep exploitation, low-frequency vulnerability scanning, and compromising
identified vulnerable virtual machines as zombies, and finally DDoS attacks through the
compromised zombies. We propose a multiphase distributed vulnerability detection,
measurement, and countermeasure selection mechanism called NICE, improve attack
detection, Security and efficiency of Virtual Network.
