2. Safety Guarding
We are specialists in all kinds of safety guarding and support steel work
Typically safety guarding utilises 25mm or 50mm square aperture welded mesh, or plate, sometimes with perforations.
Guard types range from pressed mesh or plate to steel framed mesh or plate.
Individual guards are easily identified by drawing or mark numbers stamped onto unique metal tags.
Guards can be supplied untreated, galvanised and/or painted. We also offer a very cost effective in-house powder coating
service. Optionally we can supply and attach danger or warning signs.
Handrail
and
Grating
Our capabilities include fabrication of industry standard handrail and floor grating
Standard handrail and floor grating consists of :
 One metre high ball stanchions, side mounted or top mounted connected with hand rail, knee rail and optional kick plate.
Typically handrail is hot dip galvanised and painted but can be supplied untreated.
 Flat bar load bars connected by twisted rods for easy grip and banded with flat bar.
Grating can be fabricated with banded cut outs to suit surrounding steel work.
Typically floor grating is hot dip galvanised but can be supplied untreated.
General and
Structural Fabrication

We are extremely adaptable in our fabrication capabilities and we are able to cater for requirements from very light fabrication
utilising spot welded steel wire up to heavy fabrication including structural utilising MIG and Flux Core welding.
Optionally we can provide non destructive testing and surface treatment..

and Delivery
Galvanising, Painting, Powder Coating.
Options for corrosion prevention include galvanising, painting and powder coating. Certification can be provided for all kinds of
surface treatment. We provide optional packaging and delivery. By not overloading pallets and by packing with foam sheet,
carpet, strapping and pallet wrap, clients can be re-assured that their order will reach them in perfect condition.
Qualified Welders
Qualified to Australian Standards, approved by major Mining Companies.
Fabricators at Adwest Group are all qualified Boilermakers. All Welders are qualified to Australian Standard AS1554.
Our Welders are also approved by major mining companies: BHP, Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Fortescue Metals Group and Hancock
Prospecting. Welding staff are re-qualified every six months.
Project Documentation
Manufacturers Data Reports, Inspection & Test Plans, Material Registers.
For every project we record as standard: material register and certificates, material traceability register, surface treatment
register and reports, weld procedures and welder qualifications, as built drawing registers, technical query registers, inspection
release notes, delivery dockets. As a result we are capable of producing comprehensive Manufacturers Data Reports promptly
at the conclusion of each project.

Software
Bespoke Software for Management and Quality Assurance.
Our bespoke software manages all aspects of the project fabrication life cycle. It was developed in house and aligns with our
certified Quality Assurance System. The software covers quotations, jobs, drawing management, generation of cut lists and
material nests, material orders, material certificates, technical queries, non destructive testing, surface treatment, deliveries and
releases. It is tightly integrated to our QA procedures such as system improvements, maintenance scheduling, staff training,
audits and administration schedules. This software is continually evolving as we pursue enhancements to improve quality and
efficiency within our business.

Bureau Veritas ISO9001 Certification.
Adwest Group achieved ISO9001 Certification by Bureau Veritas in 2011. The company has successfully retained this certifica-
tion on an annual basis. The procedures that make up our quality system are followed rigorously by all members of staff and the
system is tested with regular auditing.
