and Food technology, AgroParisTech has a tradition of more than 150 years1 . 
It is a member of ParisTech, a consortium of the best French Graduate Institutes in Science 
& Engineering (“Grandes Ecoles”).

• to train Master of Engineering, Master of Science and Doctoral students, through state of 
the art research and partnerships with agro-industrial companies 
• to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, in close association with public 
or private research centers, be it through fundamental or applied research 
• to develop our international relations to enhance the career prospects of our graduates 
worldwide, and take our share into the constitution of a global community of research 
Academic Programs 
Besides a large network of universities, France has a specific system of « Grandes Ecoles » 
(Business Schools and Schools of Engineering). These institutes train graduates, selected through 
competitive national entrance examinations. 
AgroParisTech delivers the following degrees: 
Master of Engineering (MEng) in 
> Agronomy on Paris and Grignon Campuses 
> Food Sciences and Technology on Massy Campus 
> Forestry on Nancy campus 
The MEng is our core program, characterized by highly selective recruitment of students, strong links 
with companies and excellent job outlets for graduates. 
Master of Science (MSc), in collaboration with universities, covering 5 different fields of Life Science 
and Technology 
ParisTech professional Masters (MSc): 
> Water, Soil and Waste Engineering 
> Design, modeling and optimization of processes 
Post-Master degree for Management and Administration in environmental sciences and 
policies proposed by ENGREF, a post-graduate institute of AgroParisTech on Paris Campus. 
9 Post-Master professional certificates (one-year post graduate training) 
A wide-ranging Ph.D. program

Economical, social, human and legal dimensions 
Modeling: Mathematics, Informatics and Physics (MMIP) 
Quantifying and managing environmental and food safety risks, developing of bio-informatics 
Research at AgroParisTech 
The five departments are organized into 39 units closely linked with major National 
Research Centers such as INRA2 , CNRS3 , CEMAGREF4 , CIRAD5 , IRD6 , CNAM7 . 
AgroParisTech is a core member of the Paris Cluster in Life & Environmental Science & 
Technology, together with 2 other Graduate schools: Alfort National Veterinary School, the 
Versailles National School of Landscape architecture and 3 research centers: INRA, AFSSA8 
and CEMAGREF. 
This cluster provides an excellent framework for the rapid development of modern research 
facilities consistent with the new trends of research.

Prospective international students: 
Welcoming talented international students is a priority for AgroParisTech. They can either join us for a Master level 
program if they are fluent in French or, if they prefer to communicate in English, for an internship or a Ph.D. 
Besides the academic programs, AgroParisTech offers accommodation, cultural and sport activities on its different 
campuses in the heart of old Paris or in the beautiful French countryside.
