Greetings from the James P Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH), BRAC University!
It is our pleasure to inform you that JPGSPH is offering a course on ‘Monitoring and Evaluation for
Tuberculosis Programme Managers’, in partnership with BRAC Health Programme, BRAC Learning
Division and ICDDR,B. The course will provide critical insight into monitoring and evaluation (M & E)
of health programmes, in particular of those related to tuberculosis. It will offer practical training in
tools, methods and applications of M & E, strengthening programme personnel to successfully
engage with programmatic M & E.
The first batch of the course will be held in from 18 March to 31 March, 2012 at the James P Grant
School of Public Health, Level 6 of ICDDR,B, 68 Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Sharani, Mohakhali,
Dhaka 1212. The batch will have 20-22 participants.
The success of the course depends largely on highly qualified resource persons who are experts in their
fields and can share both theoretical and practical perspectives with the participants. Given your expertise
in this field and your recent history of conducting 7 successful sessions on 18 March, 2012 and 19
March, 2012, we thank you for being an invaluable resource for the course. Since our participants
enjoyed your lectures, we would be honored to have you conduct another 12 sessions on 21
March, 24 March and 26 March, 2012. The details have been provided in the attached
table.
