1. The very recent project that I have completed from BRAC Bank
“Primark - Rana Plaza Project”
Project Summary:
Initial Phase: Since Rana Plaza Collapsed End of March 2012, Primark the international clothing Brand of ABF
(Associated British Foods) Plc came forward to assist the victim of Rana Plaza Garments workers. Among 5
garments housed in Rana Plaza, NWB (New Wave Bottom) used to supply garments to Primark. Initially, as
RM, I’ve facilitated and organized multiple events to open 3800 workers/ survivors of Rana Plaza. Bkash
account opened at Savar Can’t Public School in several occasions. These are termed as “Short Term
Compensation” package forthe Rana PlazaVictims.
Investment Planning for the fund recipients: Primark designed long term compensation plan. In order to
plan for the best utilization of Long term compensation amount for the recipients; Primark called upon the
entire individuals.ThusIhave provided trainingandbriefingsessionsforagroupof 40 people everyday.

The training was all about BRAC Bank, Its banking facilities, rules and regulations and how they can invest in
our regular banking products in terms of Savings Account, FDR, DPS and other Government Bonds and how
they can get return from the investments. After the training session, Primark organized individual counseling
session, where Kamrul have counseled individually all 700 recipients to determine the investment amount in
each investmentproductof BRACBankproducts andservices andGov.

This process was aided and handled by some 30 Dhaka University Students of Disaster Management
Department. I have arranged required training for these 30 students of Dhaka University at Disaster
ManagementDepartmentof DU- about the processand documentationandinvestmentplanningprocess.
