Market commentary
Nifty and Bank nifty traded in positive territory today and Nifty ended at fresh
record closing high at 10,452, up by 28 points.This week Nifty Touched high of
10460.95 and low of 10324.70 an closed at 10452.50.
For this week 10500/560 is crucial resistance level and if this level is breached
then 10620 and 10755 are possible on down side 10370 and 10280 are immediate
supports.
Out of 1,974 stocks traded on the NSE, 879 advanced, 801 declined, and 294
remained unchanged today. A total of 111 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high
in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
Jain Irrigation, kpit technologies, Power Finance Corporation, Adani ports,
Aubindo pharma are the stocks which can perform well this week.

Technical Analysis
The stock is moving higher along the support of its short term moving average
and it is moving higher for last two month indicating the trait of a stock which is in
a uptrend. It had touched high of 216 in May 2017 and retraced down to the level
of 153 in the month of August and after that it is moving higher.
The stock touched high of 216.20 which is near its previous high in the month of
May 2017 , if it continues to trade above level then further up move can be seen
up to the levels of 234/240. In down side it has very strong support around levels
of 204/200 and 198/190.

3. Market Highlights
 Nifty and Sensex ended trade on a positive note, after Sensex
appreciated by over 100 points due to strong gains in Industrials,
Bank, and Capital Goods sectors. PNB leads the Banking sector by
gaining around 5%.
 SBI Bank, ONGC, Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, and Indusland
Bank are among the gainers, whereas Power Grid, Sun Pharma,
Coal India, BPCL, and GAIL lost steam on NSE.
 Bharti Airtel hit an over 10-year high of Rs 564.80 today after a
large block deal on the BSE, but came off that level after investors
realised that the deal was between promoter entities. The stock
was up 1.2%
 The Q2FY18 results came in mixed vs street estimates as NII for
the quarter was 11.2% below the street estimates of Rs.2915
crore. And Net profit for the quarter was 6.3% higher than
estimates of Rs.1774 crore.The NII for the quarter declined by
9.8% yoy to Rs.2589 crore in Q2FY18 vs Rs.2871 crore in previous
year corresponding quarter.
 Shares of Amtek Auto made a strong surge of 20%, creating a buzz
in the market and media alike. The surge came after Bharat Forge
announced its participation in the process to acquire Amtek Auto.
