Advanced health and safety documentation, policies, permits, and certifications with contractors for the full
project of turning a decommissioned coal plant into a fully accessible venue for a 17 day international
multidisciplinary arts festival. Conducted full site H&S orientations for all staff one site during the construction
phase. Supervised work to ensure Ontario regulations were being adhered to by all persons on site.
Supported and engaged the JHSC to take part in corrective action for workplace hazards. Diligent reporting
on incidents, damage, injury, fire watch. Dealt with many city inspectors who came to site: Building
inspector, public health inspector, fire department, ESA, Union representatives, Ministry of Labor, EMS,
Toronto hydro, Ontario Power Generation etc.
Accomplishments
• Used the inhospitable conditions of the venue as an opportunity to make positive changes in the live
event industry and its culture surrounding health and safety.
• Multitasking between many producers, shows, venues as well as site logistics and crew with extremely
tight timelines and budgets.

artistic vision of the show. Was the point person for all communication between suppliers, crew, venue, local

Responsible for coordinating between Production Designer, Supervising Producer, Record Labels and Artist
Management to come up with unique design elements for each live performance while adhering to very
stringent budgeting approval and management practices.
Accomplishments
• Designed the white mantle, and did all the set dressing for Alessia Carra’s opening number.
• Managed the logistics and design of the various fog and atmospheric effects.
• Worked with the production designer and sponsors to highlight brand presence in an appropriate and yet
well designed manner.

• Created a very inexpensive and yet extremely impactful dust effect for the Dean Brody performance.
• Designed and built a custom bulb wall out of festoon lighting for High Valley.
• Sourced supplies and staged lamps for the Autumn Hill performance and worked with the director and
the steadycam operator to achieve the artistic treatment that was proposed.

Advanced 100’s of artists for a 70 day long festival while also managing the daily operations. Managed and
scheduled all technical crew for the 3 performance locations throughout the site. Went through settlement
process with most Artists/Tour Managers. Coordinated the hospitality for all artists guests and special
events. Outdoor site with a capacity of 4000 Main Stage, Biergarten with full menu, pavilion with second
stage, busker stage, and kids zone.
Accomplishments
• Many high profile stakeholders.
• Reporting to many provincial government representatives regarding budgets as each week was
sponsored by a different province.
• Weathered tropical storm Arthur on the 5th day. Shut down the site to essential staff only, and eventually
fully evacuated site. The precautions taken and the quick response meant that the site sustained less
damage, and all personnel were safe.
• Prioritizing, time management, multi-tasking, strong communication, and effective delegation were all
integral to the success of this marathon outdoor government funded arts festival .
• Opened and closed the site every day.
