Dear Human Resource Manager,
I am applying for the open position for a cardiac sonographer. I earned an Associate’s
Degree in Applied Science from Kirtland Community College in Gaylord MI.
As a cardiac sonographer student, I gained extensive knowledge in cardiac scanning and the
advantage of using my right or left hand to obtain images. As an intern I became familiar with
trans-esophageal, pediatric protocols, stress tests and contrast agents. While I was completing
my internship I was able to teach nursing students how the heart functions. My experience as a
nurse's aide allows me to provide compassionate care to patients, while ensuring their safety by
following policies and procedures. I have excellent communication skills and exceptional
multitasking abilities from my past job experiences. I have obtained my Basic Life Support
certification and all of my immunizations are up to date.
