PROFILE
Highly skilled event coordinator and business owner with 8 years of experience in event
organization. In 2008, I co-founded Apple Jam Music Festival, a three-day music and arts
festival in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. By 2015, our attendance was
approximately 5,000 people. The full production included two music stages, 17 artists,
40 food/beverage/crafts vendors, nearly 100 volunteers, and 20 paid staff.

 Establish and responsibly manage event budget
 Scout land/venue for event based on acreage, layout
logistics, accessibility, and rental cost
 Negotiate land/venue contracts
 Obtain proper permitting through Jackson County and
Applegate Fire District for Temporary Mass Gathering
 Scout talent for the event as well as accepting and
reviewing artist submissions
 Negotiate artist contracts and fees with artist booking
agent, including fees, lodging, travel and hospitality
 Scout lodging for artists and negotiate lodging rates
 Schedule artist lineup for three-day event
 Direct graphic designers for visual design projects,
such as website header, posters, flyers and handbills
 Personally design and manage festival website—

 Design festival layout (parking, camping, stages, etc.)
 Hire sound/lighting technicians and negotiate rates
 Coordinate food/beverage/craft vendors and collect
fees before and during event
 Manage Apple Jam Music Festival social media pages
 Develop lasting relationships with corporate sponsors,
and negotiate and fulfill advertising incentives
 Coordinate roughly 100 volunteers before, during, and
after the event
 Hire and train paid staff for necessary tasks involving
handling money and/or requiring operating licenses
 Hire licensed security for event and coordinate tasks,
locations, and schedules
