Prior to his current work, Matyas served as Chief of Staff for the Regional Transportation Authority and as Illinois State Director for the Humane Society of the United States, and has worked at various levels of government including the White House and City of Chicago Law Department.

delivering valuable results for clients.
Mr. Matyas has spent over 20 years working in and around government. He
currently services his clients through his firm 1818, an advocacy group. Jordan
has represented clients before dozens of local governments in the Chicagoland
area as well as the State on legislative, regulatory, and procurement matters.
Jordan served as Chief of Staff for the Regional Transportation Authority,
supervising a staff of 120 people with a budget of $38 million. Prior to that,
he served as the Illinois State Director for the Humane Society of the United
States. Jordan has worked at almost every level of government including the
White House, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation,
the Illinois Legislature and the City of Chicago Law Department, among others.
