CEO CLUB PRESENTATION
CEO CLUB - Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities

    Introduction

The CEO Club began as a club, among many, of the Faculty of Economics at Nova. Being a club
was not enough for its ambitions and quickly the idea of turning the club in the Association came
    up.

Today, officially, the Club is registered as Associação Ready to Win, a nonprofit organization which
aims to: promote and foster national entrepreneurship. This entity aims to not only promote the
creation of start-ups, but also offer entrepreneurs the means to overcome some obstacles in the
early stages of their business by creating strategic partnerships that will allow the leveraging of
    projects.

CEO Intervention

About 30% of businesses do not survive at the end of 1st year

"(...) More than 70% of the companies survives and remains on the market, (...). The first to the
second year, the survival rate of all firms decreases considerably (19%) whereas, the second to the
third year, this decrease is significantly attenuated (6.7%), demonstrating that it is in the first two
years of activity that companies face major challenges and obstacles that may restrict their stay in
    the market. “
