The gospel invites us to participate in both the physical and spiritual transformation of God’s world. Serving people’s physical needs has spiritual ripple effects, and telling people the good news about Jesus triggers justice and social transformation. These two aspects of the gospel can’t be separated. How does this Integral Mission (or holistic ministry, or transformational development) play out as Christians focus on the fundamental need communities have for safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)?

desperately needed clean water, and to experience
"living water” the gospel of Jesus Christ—which
