I am a passionate migration expert currently directing the Scalabrini Institute for Human Mobility in Africa (SIHMA) a research centre on international migration. Over ten years of work in Europe and Africa I have developed a solid knowledge of the refugee protection framework and I have gained experience in managing and implementing development projects by working for NGOs and the United Nations Refugee Agency. In addition, I am skilled in designing and carrying out research projects as well as in networking with academic institutions, civil society groups and international agencies.
