Dear Sirs,
John Larmour
I am delighted to be able to provide a reference for John.
Since joining the IT Department in September 2014, John has made a major contribution to the start-up and
growth of the vocational IT stream, always putting the learner at the heart of everything he does.
Since January 2015, John has acted as Tutor for the Cohort 1 SSS Associate Diploma in IT group. This additional
responsibility has seen John provide consistent outstanding support to his tutees, and drive curriculum planning
and delivery. As part of this role, John has led on the introduction of the Edmodo (VLE) system across the
Department. This was highlighted as an area of best practice during the independent Institutional Review in May
2015.
In addition to this, John has played a key role in driving quality standards throughout the Department, and this
was evidenced by an outstanding external verification visit for the IT Department from Saudi Skills Standards in
March 2015. He has also led on developing the Work Experience programme, liaising with employers such as
Makkah Chamber of Commerce, and Mövenpick Hotel.
I wish John every success for the future. I know he will be a huge asset to his new College.
