 Cut spouts, runner holes, and sprued holes into mold.
 Sprinkled or sprayed parting agent onto pattern and mold sections to facilitate removal of pattern from mold.
 Positioned patterns inside mold sections and clamped sections together.
 Lifted upper mold section from lower and removed molded patterns.
 Rotated sweep board around spindle to make symmetrical molds for convex impressions.
 Cleaned and smoothed molds, cores, and core boxes, and repaired surface imperfections.
