RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
● Research Assistant, January - May 2016. Researched text collation algorithms and
software. Coded implementations of the Diff Algorithm and the Unicode Collation
Algorithm using Python, using entire text files as input.
● Researcher and planner for the “Numbrcase Project”, March-May 2016. Worked
in a team to develop a potential contacts app for Android using Java. Led the UX
design process. Team was able to build a working UI from scratch, which could add,
remove, and save contacts, including phone number, profile picture, and social media
accounts.
● Developer and researcher for a Geb-Spock revision, September-December
2015. Worked with a team to improve Spock framework implementation for Geb via
open source. Researched Geb code, assisted in developing unit tests, and planned
weekly meetings and presentation. Implementation was accepted by Geb.
● Project leader for the “Tower Quest Project”, March - May 2013. Led a team in
developing a text-based adventure game using C#, in which the player fought his/her
way to the top of a three-level grid-based dungeon using randomly-generated attack
statistics. Delivered working results in a timely manner, and led the project
presentation to the professor and class.
● Project leader for the “Find the Hole Project”, October - December 2012. Led a
pair programming project in developing a Python-based game in which the player had
to find a hole on a grid with a limited number of clicks. Led development and design
process. Delivered working results in a timely manner.
● Clerk at Paragon Home Health Inc, June 2011 - 2015. Performed data entry of
patient care activity into an OASIS-C-compliant system. Provided basic desktop IT
support.
2. LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES
Loyola University Chicago Kendo Club
● External Affairs Officer, August 2015 - April 2016. Organized social events for the
club members, reported club news and updates weekly, led recruitment events,
contacted outside organizations for the benefit of the club.
● President, August 2014 - May 2015. Expanded weekly club practice to twice a week,
maintained strong recruitment drive, clarified and enforced the roles and
responsibilities of the executive board.
● Vice President, January 2013 - May 2014. Negotiated budget allocation with SAGA
(Student Activities and Greek Affairs department) for Kendo seminar event, organized
social events for the club.

executive board, kept remaining members on track with responsibilities, advised new
executive board for next year.
