producer, assistant news director, and news director for both 5:00 AM and Noon Newscasts. Assigned
one reporter and two photographers to coverage of news events overnight and early morning. Selected

during newscasts and websites as events were in progress. Reached out to community to find new and
topical expert guests for the noon news program on topics such as agriculture, the 2008 presidential

Responsible for preparation of the daily news plan by following short-term stories, long-term stories, as
well as planning for day-only stories. Implemented daily news plan of action with assistance of producers,

Worked as news reporter and anchor for two AM stations across two radio markets: responsible for
gathering news stories in morning, writing news stories, editing audio for news stories, and producing

morning updates. Assigned to cover and report on civic events and city council meetings for radio.

radio station. Provided live newscasts with breaking and pertinent newscasts during live sports and music

programming from ABN. Responsible for all technical operations of the radio station during live

Responsible for enterprising and writing six to eight stories for a weekly community newspaper.
Responsible for developing leads, conducting interviews, completing thorough research, and ultimately
