Promotions Director, 5/2014 to 8/2015
As Promotions Director I was responsible for creating and implementing station marketing plans along
with on-air promotions and contests from concept to execution and follow-up. I planned and led weekly
meetings following up on recent station appearances and brainstorming new creative ideas. I oversaw a
team of 6 promotions assistants fostering a high level of on-site professionalism as well as acquired new
station equipment and promotional items as needed. Staying in close contact with the local news paper
allowed me to inform the community via printed publication of our station events as well as provide up-to-
date information on local news using our air waves. Daily tasks included organizing morning show
interviews, maintenance of station websites and community calendars, creating spot schedules for airing
PSA’s, scheduling music, spot production, scheduling and staffing all remotes and appearances and
keeping a running log for FCC quarterly reports.
Selected Accomplishments:
 Acted as Assistant Program Director of KHRD – Red 103.1 & 93.3 Redding’s Classic Rock
 Assisted in providing new imaging elements to improve station branding
 Planned and executed 9 major NTR events that made upwards of 55 thousand dollars for Results
Radio
 Balanced event budgets by decreasing expenses on annual events while increasing profit
 Served on the board of the Redding Beer & Wine Festival
 Improved ratings of all stations across the board

Promotions Assistant/Weekend Air Talent on KATM- KAT Country 103, 10/2004 to 5/2009
Performed an entertaining and fun air shift involving many calls and contests. Logged transmitter
readings for 4 stations. Interacted with the community at remote broadcasts, appearances, morning show
stunts and major station events.
Selected Accomplishments:
• Served as interim night show host from June 2006 to March 2007.
• Selected to assist in moving 6 radio stations from Modesto to Stockton.

• Assisted in executing Kat Country’s Listener Appreciate Concert for 8 years which draws over
20,000 people.
